Featured Stockist: Wykham Farm Shop

The Wykham Farm Shop opened in 2000 and stocks fresh quality produce from their farm and local suppliers. Their range includes long horn beef, chutneys, local honey, home baking and 60 artisan cheeses.


They are proud to offer seasonal vegetables, especially at this time of year. In the short but bountiful asparagus season late April through to June – the farm is harvesting brilliant British spears of the vegetable daily from 50 acres.

The shop has been stocking Findlater’s for over three years and the team just love it. Lizzie, Wykham’s Store Manager, told us that customers favourites from the Findlater’s range were Chicken Liver and Mackerel pate. The team recommends pairing the Chicken Liver pate with Swedish crisp breads – sounds lovely!

Cranstons master butchers have been championing Cumbrian produce since 1914.

Alongside their renowned dry cured bacons, traditional cumberland sausages, fresh meat and delicatessen products their flagship Cumbrian Food Hall in Penrith features local produce from over forty Cumbrian producers and specially selected produce from further afield.

The company recently scooped the title ‘Butcher of the Year’ at the 2014 Farm Shop and Deli Awards.


Cranstons deli manager Caroline recommends Findlaters paté on a chunky husk of wholemeal bread made by local bakery Brysons of Keswick. Her favourite product is Findlaters wonderful smoked salmon pate- you just can’t beat it!

The Fridge, Dorchester’s own “baby Harrods”, has been serving local produce to the local community for 20 years.


Selling 120 different cheeses, baked goods, fresh fruit and vegetables, The Fridge team is proud to be at the centre of the local food revolution.

Owner, Wayne Garnett, recommends adding a pot of Findlater’s Stilton and Pear paté to a cheese board, and he added that Findlater’s is an “Absolutely superb paté, our customers love it!”

Findlater’s Chicken Paté receives glowing review

We were delighted to see that December’s issue of Great British Food magazine judged Findlater’s Chicken Liver Paté with Brandy & Port worthy of inclusion in their ’3 of the best Patés’.

The review of our star performing product declared that ‘ This silky paté is smooth and decadent.’ and that ‘Packed with rich, creamy butter, it tastes dreamy on hot toast or paired with a tart cranberry sauce or relish.’

Findlater’s Paté launches with online retailer.

We’re delighted to announce that a range of seven Findlater’s patés are now available to purchase from Ocado.  They are currently available on an introductory promotion at 20% less than the standard retail price throughout November.  We hopes this makes it even easier for Findlater’s fans to get hold of our fabulous patés and we’re really looking forward to working with Ocado going forward.

We recently announced that our multiple Gold Award winning paté is to be made available in a new quenelle format for our Food Service customers.

To support the trade shows that we have been exhibiting at recently we produced short videos to demonstrate these innovative product formats.

Findlater’s Pop-out Quenelle Portions to Launch Officially by End of the Year

Findlater’s stunning, multiple Gold Award winning Pate and Parfait will soon be available in an innovative new portion control format for our Food Service customers.
This format presents the pate as frozen ‘pop-out and serve’ quenelle portions.

Martin Findlater Henderson, Findlater’s MD, remarked “Our pate quenelle shape looks fab, tastes amazing and is so easy to use. All this with no waste and great labour saving convenience for the Chef or Caterer. I am very excited by this product and the interest that it has already generated pre-launch. ”

This great new format launches officially at the end of 2012 and the Findlater’s Team will be pre-viewing it at the Restaurant Show, Earl’s Court, London between 8th and 10th of October.

Findlater’s announce launch of exciting new dip range.


We’ve been busy in the kitchen at Findlater’s recently, working on perfecting the recipes for our scrumptious new dips. The range of four products (Spinach & Ricotta dip, Black Bean dip, Roasted Red Pepper dip and Coconut Satay dip)  will be available in deli’s, farm shops and garden centres nationwide from the 14th June.  Our dips are hand- prepared by chefs to the same high standards that you’ll already know to expect of Findlater’s and the sheer quality of our ingredients and recipes means that the flavours and textures are just as special as our paté’s. The dips are all made with a base of roasted nuts rather than mayonnaise or chickpeas which means that not only do they taste sublime, they’re really versatile.  We’ve had fun experimenting with recipe ideas and have found that they’re great used to add some zing to a sandwich, as a topping for baked fish & chicken fillets , or stirred into pasta or noodles.

Scottish Pate Supplier Signs UK Waitrose Deal


After successful sales in Scottish branches of Waitrose over the last six months, the specialist Scottish pate producer, Findlater’s, is set to sign a nationwide deal with the supermarket.

Findlater’s will supply its award-winning Chicken Liver Paté, Avocado & Cashew Nut Paté and Dunsyre & Pressed Pear Paté lines to 60 stores south of the Border from the start of May 2011.

Adam Kennedy, Waitrose delicatessen buyer, said how pleased Waitrose was to be able to strengthen the relationship between Waitrose and Findlater’s, adding its name to the growing number of Scottish lines in Waitrose stores south of the Border.

He said: “Findlater’s are a perfect example of the type of supplier we love to work with. Their handmade patés have already proved very popular with our customers in Scotland, the Chicken Liver Pate with Brandy & Port being the bestseller.
