Our Story

Findlater’s started life in 2004 as a restaurant and delicatessen where we sold our handmade patés, dips, coleslaw and bakery products. This was such a success that we decided to build a much bigger kitchen to cope with demand.

Now, our kitchens and facilities are big, new and state of the art, but all our pates are still made in small batches, with all the love and care we started with – small batches, but lots and lots and lots of them! It really is a labour of love. Although we are the UK’s leading pate brand, we won’t compromise on our reputation for restaurant quality!

In addition to being multi award winning and uncompromisingly tasty, our paté and coleslaw are also naturally free of gluten and suitable for Coeliacs. We are delighted to have won the coveted 3-star award in the 2020 Great Taste Awards for our signature Chicken Liver Paté with Brandy and Port.

Our pates are still hand-made in small batches to ensure a wonderful texture and flavour in every pot. Our range includes classics like our award winning Chicken Liver Pate with Port and Brandy (3 star award winner) and Mushroom Pate with Madeira Wine and Truffle Oil (a 2 star award winner) while also including more unusual flavour combinations such as our Avocado & Cashew Nut Pate with Mango and Chilli.

Findlater’s dips are made with a base of roasted nuts, which gives them a texture and flavour that is simply sublime. Fabulous with crisps, crusty bread, toasted pitta or crudités, they also lend themselves to so many uses beyond dipping.                                                                                                

Our award winning, Findlater’s Famous Coleslaw is renowned for its fresh, crispy combination of onion, red cabbage and crunchy carrots, smothered in a deliciously creamy mayonnaise.
